The Ladies of Horror
Picture-Prompt Writing Challenge!
I stared at the road full of dead bodies smothered in blood. I carefully lifted my dainty foot over one of them and peered down into his hurt eyes. I saw fear, anxiety and hatred. Suddenly, a small, dark creature appeared from the night sky. Lucinda, my messenger, had returned. She sat on my shoulder and I said “Where to next?”.
***
We arrived at Cottage Farm 21 Yale Avenue. I summoned all of my feathered messengers. Lucinda dug her claws into my clothes and so did the others when they arrived. Slowly, they lifted me up and into the revolting chimney full of dust and ash. I landed with a thud on the battered, wooden flooring and saw 4 pairs of fearful eyes looking at me. I sent my steel sword through their kind hearts, I had finally gotten my revenge on Ramiel. He would come home to find his beloved human family to have perished.
