The Garden
by Nina D’Arcangela
O’, ye who hath brought this shine among us. Thou knoweth the succulent ones are forbidden. You have stolen God’s gift by plucking it most properly ripe. Juices flow still, skin cracks crisp, the crunch of thine teeth an offense to all. Forbidden is this act, yet you choose to stand outside this congress. For this, damned ye shall be. Six sons born of six fathers the fall has taken place, only from its decayed issue do we sup. But ye, ye has broken our covenant. Selfish fingers do not paint His intent, they do not offer rectitude in this place of putrescence and rot.
For having offended so, ye shall be hangëd by thine neck eight times, drawn, and spread amongst His indulgent slop. We shall ingest your offal as it sloughs to the already tinged loam.

Bent Metal
Where does reality end and dreamscape begin?
Woken each night by the sounds of screams and twisting metal, Lauren must relive the panic and fear of discovering her brother’s broken body on the asphalt. But each morning, she finds it’s only a dream… One she doesn’t want to keep having.
At what point does a dream become a nightmare, and a nightmare more than a figment of her subconscious?
