My Jack
by Ela Lourenco
.
Jack be nimble, Jack be quick
Jack didn’t make it over the candlestick
Jack decided he no longer wanted to play
Jack didn’t listen to what I had to say
Jack packed his bags and walked to the door
Alas now poor Jack, he is with us no more
I carved out his heart and now it’s all mine
Jack and I, forever for all time.

Will the Shadows cover the world in darkness? Only Lara and her friends can change the fate of Azmantium.
Cool poem.
Cute horror verse! Too late for Jack now.
This is so clever – I love retellings of traditional nursery rhymes – super cool and creepy.
