I Am One of the Worlds Out There
by Alina Măciucă
She gnaws on my thigh,
My blood stains her muzzle.
When she opens her mouth,
She spills out a galaxy.
The pain only comes when
The blood stops flowing,
And a rock
Grows out of my flesh.
She gnaws on my back,
My blood taints her fur.
Mother bear spins the Multiverse between her paws.
I lie sprawled, face down.
Where my tears drop,
Grass grows.
And from my crushed skull
The sky emerges red.
