The Ladies of Horror
Picture-Prompt Writing Challenge!
Fading Days
by Asena Lourenco
Passing summer days,
Fade to dust,
Like a piece of iron
Starting to rust,
Each day a lonely fish,
Trying to survive,
Just waiting for the day,
They can make it out alive,
Flowers in my hair,
Wind in my face,
Feet up, relaxed,
As the storm takes its place,
Every moment in time,
Followed by its opposing part,
Remember when the light comes,
So will the dark.
