The Ladies of Horror
Picture-Prompt Writing Challenge!
Imprisoned
by Asena Lourenco
Helplessly she floated in the air,
Her eyes no longer blinking,
With a glassy touch they formed a tear,
Her mind at rest from thinking,
Her glossy hair fell down in small waves,
Not daring to touch the ground,
Frozen in time was only she,
Her lips no longer creating sound,
No longer shall they torment us,
The last one to fall from their spell,
As they banish the ones of green,
To their very own Hell,
They shall wield their magicks no more,
Extracted and locked away,
They shall harm not one more soul,
Until the destined day.

An excellent and slightly sinister poem, I loved it.
