The Ladies of Horror
Picture-Prompt Writing Challenge!
Death by the Door Handle
by Asena Lourenco
The silver details standing boldly
As the wind whistles brushing past coldly
Time stands still as the metal rusts
And humans slowly turn to dust
Melting away, not one left behind
But the young, fresh eager minds
Who struggle to live all alone
As one handle strips human flesh to bone
Curse or not the evil spell will remain
As all will remember the death-bringing Pain.
