The Ladies of Horror
Picture-Prompt Writing Challenge!

The Immortal Boy
by Asena Lourenco
Frozen as can be in the statue of dark
But his evil soul still trapped within tree bark
Begging and begging to be set free
Begging and begging on his hands and knees
Cursed for taking the life of many
And not leaving one tiny, little penny
Robbing the city of lives and money
Somehow thinking that it was very funny
For the rest of eternity there will be a noise
From the tree which contains the immortal boy
